When the free formaldehyde content exceeds a certain limit, it will affect human health. Detecting the formaldehyde emission of particleboard is a complicated process, and the formaldehyde emission of particleboard is simply preliminarily determined by the following method. First, stack the unused particle board in a small room, close the doors and windows, and enter the room for observation after a period of storage. If there is no pungent smell, it means that the formaldehyde release amount of the blockboard is low, and the use will not affect human health; if the smell is large or there is a feeling of tearing, the formaldehyde release amount of the particle board may be higher.

 

In view of the formaldehyde problem of particle board, the best way to remove formaldehyde now is to use Maya blue, which is an adsorbent based on attapulgite and sepiolite, by adding other natural minerals such as diatomaceous earth and tourmaline. Manufactured by special processing technology, the pore diameter of the internal pores is between 0.27 and 0.98 nanometers in a crystal arrangement. At the same time, it has weak electricity. The molecular diameter of formaldehyde, ammonia, benzene, toluene, and xylene are all between 0.4 and 0.62 nanometers, and they are all polar molecules. They have the characteristics of preferentially adsorbing harmful gases such as formaldehyde, benzene, TVOC, etc., to achieve purification The effect of indoor air. It can absorb and decompose formaldehyde, and can be reused after sun exposure.
